Membership
of the West Yorkshire Model Flying Club (WYMFC) is contingent on
members joining the British Model Flying Association (BMFA).
The BMFA have a computerised system for joining the BMFA and holding information about members. This system or “Portal” as they call it is accessible to all members and allows people to apply to join, pay their subscriptions and download their membership documentation. It also allows members to update their information (profile) and also apply for membership of individual clubs. All members are advised to access it and add emergency contact details.

The 2022 cost of adult membership is £40 per annum, 1st of January 2022 to 31st of December 2022 and £40 to join the British Model Flying Association (BMFA).
Membership of the BMFA is mandatory for WYMFC members as our club is affiliated to the BMFA and membership also provides 3rd Party Insurance cover in case of model related accidents.
Membership of the BMFA, the WYMFC and CAA can be completed at the same time.
